Rift White Oak Cabinets in Las Vegas
The finest cut of America's favorite hardwood.
The allure of rift white oak
You have seen it in the best kitchens in the valley: a warm, straight grain that reads modern and natural at once. Rift white oak is the finest cut of white oak, and we build custom cabinets from it every week in our Las Vegas workshop.
Your finish can be a natural oil that shows every ray, a light or walnut-toned stain, or a wire-brushed texture with a grey wash.

The Peterson difference
What makes rift white oak so covetable?
The rift cut produces a straight, uniform grain with subtle waves and flecks that add depth without busyness. White oak is exceptionally stable, takes stain evenly and is durable enough for generations of use in your home.
We source the highest quality rift white oak from sustainably managed forests in the Midwest and grain-match it across doors and drawer fronts so your run reads as one piece of wood.
Why rift white oak
- Grain: straight, uniform grain with quiet depth.
- Stability: excellent stability for cabinetry in a dry climate.
- Finishing: takes stain evenly and finishes beautifully.
- Durability: built for decades of use.
Finish options
- Stains: light to darker walnut hues.
- Natural oil: enhances and protects the grain.
- Wire-brushing: highlights the medullary rays.
- Grey wash: an optional weathered look.
Grain-matched by hand
Our artisans lay out every slab door and drawer front so the grain flows across your kitchen, then finish it in our controlled booth. The result is a rift white oak masterpiece, not a set of matching boxes.
